You will design and fabricate a piece of flat-pack furniture using an open-source customisable template. You shall be guided through the application of 2D Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM). You will take home a scaled maquette from sheet acrylic, and a full-scaled machined birch plywood production model of your customised design.

Materials and Equipment
All tools and materials are provided. No prior experience is required. For workshop based sessions please wear work clothing and closed toed shoes.
Please note that all courses are subject to student numbers and will only run if sufficient numbers are achieved. Plymouth College of Art reserves the right to cancel a course if insufficient student numbers are recruited.
