Become an environmental champion and create your very own biodegradable wooden litter picker with the Smart Citizens team! Over this two-part workshop for beginners, you will develop new skills in digital design and digital fabrication techniques, and explore how sustainable design techniques can be used to protect the environment.
In the first workshop you will explore the computer aided design software (CAD) Rhino, and learn how to customise an open-source litter picker design with text or images. You will then get hands on with the laser cutter and create your litter picker out of wood. Once assembled you can take your litter picker home, ready to support your local community!
