Areas of expertise: Product development, prototyping, hardware proof of concepts and Industrial Research Management, Parasolid CAD Technical Lecturer. Additive and subtractive manufacturing, Autodesk Fusion 360 Certified Instructor.

Ian Hankey - Principal Technician & Industrial Researcher

Location: CC1.06 Fab Lab and CC0.6 Glass Workshop

Areas of expertise: Traditional hot glass blowing in combination with digital 3D design and manufacturing processes, CAD rendering, and waterjet cutting. Additive and subtractive manufacturing, Rhinoceros 7, Autodesk Fusion 360 Certified Instructor.

Owen Groombridge - Technical Demonstrator & Industrial Researcher

Location: CC1.06 Fab Lab

Areas of expertise: Sustainable Materials Industrial Research, CNC machining in exotic materials, bespoke 3D printer design and manufacture. Additive and subtractive manufacturing, Digital 3D Design software; Rhinoceros 7, Grasshopper and an Autodesk Fusion 360 Certified Instructor.

Areas of expertise: Traditional and digitally manufactured letterpress & other printing processes, 3D environment scanning and small scale 3D scanning with scan mesh post processing. bespoke CNC plotter design and manufacture. Additive and subtractive manufacturing, Autodesk Fusion 360 Certified User.
